Nope. Based on ClearAdmit, some people got rejected. Waitlist without an interview is one of the Sloan thing - they do not want to waste their time interviewing may be candidates.

Nope. Based on ClearAdmit, some people got rejected. Waitlist without an interview is one of the Sloan thing - they do not want to waste their time interviewing may be candidates.

Pretty much, waitlist has a very small conversion (from ClearAdmit data looks like less than 5% convert), would treat it as ding, especially since you don't know when it'd come and may need to accept and pay deposits for other schools in the meantime.

Agree. My R2 changes are almost gone. Still have to hear back from Yale SOM and the Sloan waitlist is way too much of a hassle for international candidates like me.
