are there any rejections?
if there arent any rejections the waitlist is basically a ding

Man, I don’t know if I would have been happy with a ding. I don’t have the mental bandwidth for the waitlist game.

I am dreading that I will be torturing myself by scrolling ClearAdmit for months now.🥲

Nope. Based on ClearAdmit, some people got rejected. Waitlist without an interview is one of the Sloan thing - they do not want to waste their time interviewing may be candidates.

That's what they've done in past years. Applies to both FT and executive MIT Sloan programs.

i also just noticed this trend on clear admit, based on the updates, let me go and check my portal. If i am dinged, i will be extra mad :lol: ... let me check, i will be right back

Pretty much, waitlist has a very small conversion (from ClearAdmit data looks like less than 5% convert), would treat it as ding, especially since you don't know when it'd come and may need to accept and pay deposits for other schools in the meantime.

Agree. My R2 changes are almost gone. Still have to hear back from Yale SOM and the Sloan waitlist is way too much of a hassle for international candidates like me.

So we'll need to wait until round 3 interview invite.. And still can be rejected with or without interview later on..?
