How many people does Sloan shortlist for interview? Any idea on the approx number of applicants in R1?

900 in Rd 1 supposedly Out of maybe 2.3k apps, so 1 in 2.5

Can i apply for round 2 with a 710 score...I have a very highly represented profile(Indian IT male applicant). Should I retake gmat and look to score above 740? Anyone heard about someone getting into MIT with a 710?

Looking at your score breakdown of Q48 and V38, I would definitely take it again. seriously, aim for Q50 and anywhere similar in V37~38 you would easily get 730 or higher. In my opinion, a higher GMAT sounds ideal considering it's round 2.

I guess 24 hours from now, Sloan will release a decision on interviews for R1. Best wishes to everyone. I’m 90% sure of a ding myself, but this 10% hope is making me restless!!
