Two of my Clients did. One, who got into the Fellow program has posted a recommendation on my Linkedin as well. Both Indian, Males, with different UG subjects. One had lots of evidence to prove his quant superiority, while the other had mediocre scores, but had done intense networking.

Oh sweet awesome 👏 congratulations 🎉🍾🎈 the one must have had some indicators of quant aptitude right? Did v he have good UG grades or? I am surprised about your mention of intense networking. why do you feel that was critical to his success? There’s not much room to articulate this in the App my understanding has always been to put the focus on post achievements more so than why Sloan. Honestly hoping to learn something here.

MIT Sloan has posted its class profile for class of 2024. You can have a look here https://mitsloan.mit.edu/mba/admissions/class-2024-profile.
There was about a 25% drop in applications overall! The biggest drop in top 25 B schools.
Although, no drop in median GMAT.
Here are some more interesting stats - https://poetsandquants.com/2022/10/14/mba-class-of-2024-apps-to-mit-sloan-down-by-a-quarter/

Hi, is there anyone who is preparing for GMAT and MBA Application simultaneously? How are you coping up with both. Need advice.
Actually, preparing for both simultaneously is much more common than you think. Preparation for GMAT is much more structured, and rule-based, and there is a limited amount of time you can prepare/ practice on GMAT material, before the "fatigue" starts getting the better of you.
Application preparation, on the other hand, is a lot more introspection, and is more on the creative side. It becomes a creative distraction, and actually HELPS REFRESH your mind from the rule-based fatigue. For many of my clients, who have little time left before the R2/ R3 approach, this is a strategy I have suggested often, and it has worked as well, provided you have a mentor who can guide you at every step just how to spread your time between the two

as someone who tutored gmat verbal for 18 years before mba admissions - this is what ive got for you. get your extended score report and focus on the highest priority areas; get a tutor who is great in those areas (ie data sufficiency etc) that you vibe with; their outside perspective will help you make breakthroughs on how you are "seeing" the test and answer choices; this should help you accelerate and if not find another tutor. work with them to have a concrete learning objective each day and spend 60-90 minutes in the morning. wake up early - give it the best of you not the rest of you. look up pomodoro method. take one day off maybe 2. keep error logs. then work on applications in the evenings and afternoon on the weekends.

Haha, I believe there'd be a minimal difference because of the drop honestly on our admission chances considering their acceptance rate, they also reduced the number of intakes this year a little bit.
But yeah, let's hope for the best! Also, I've heard the applications are expected to drop this year too because of the recession fears.., so let's just wait and see :P

There is a positive correlation between recession and applicants applying to schools. When there is a rise in unemployment, there is also a rise in school applications.

Indeed, I agree. But even though hiring has been halted in many places, unemployment numbers are still very low as far as I know. And people who have their jobs are reluctant to leave their jobs right now because of the fear of the upcoming recession, hence I fairly agreed with the argument when it was put forward in front of me.

Anyone know when Sloan Interview decisions usually come out for R1? I haven't been able to find a set date on any websites. Thanks!

What time do interview invites come next week on the 27th? Do they all update together, or is it rolling throughout the day?
