The requirements mentioned at https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admis ... ons/essays do not mention anything about writing your name etc. You might be looking at another MBA program requirements. The requirements for FT MBA are at the link above.

Additionally, I don't think you should be thinking too much about it.

Thanks for response. But that is deadline but they usually start releasing decisions much earlier. I thought somebody who has past experience, may share some insights.

I talk with a current student he said he got interview decision one month after he submit his application.

This is question for all R1 international applicants to Stern's FT MBA program. Where and when are you supposed to fill out the international student supplement ? I do not find it in the online application. Do you get to fill it out once you have submitted your application and paid the fees?

I do not see such a section anywhere in the online application for R2 FT MBA Program. What am I missing?

Edit: Just saw the new section of "International" after "Family". I did update my address and nationality last night. The system must have taken some time to process that information.

From what I've seen on past forums, it looks like around a month before the deadline is when the first notifications start going out, but then it slows down around Thanksgiving until right before the December 15th deadline again.

That was probably due to the fact that last year NYU had the first round deadline of 15th Nov instead of 15th October this time around.

Really? Says it was basically the same deadlines as this year if you look at the first posting for the 2015/17 group. Might be wrong, but that's just what I was going off of.

My bad. I misread the deadlines. You are correct that deadlines last year were the same as those we have for this year. Last year the first invites came around end of October -early November making it 2-3 weeks after the 15 October deadline. So probably the same timeframe will be applicable this year as well.

For R1 applicants:

All parts of my applications, recos & fees was closed before the deadline except for my GMAT & TOEFL scores. I then received confirmation from ETS & GMAC that scores have reached NYU but still the final app page didn't reflect this, have waited for a few days and still the scores don't reflect. The Adcoms are simply saying that it hasn't reached (literally in a 1 line response!).


Wonder if this an issue with the NYU system with regard to score receipts. Any one else facing this issue, or is it just me?

I am not a R1 applicant but this should not be an issue. It might just be a system issue at NYU. I would say keep your receipt for school report at hand and also go to mba.com and log into your profile to see when exactly was the score report "sent" online to the school. I do not think you can anything else right now.

I wouldn't worry too much. I submitted my score back in July and it didn't show up on my Stern app until October. I reached out to adcom as well to make sure nothing was wrong and they said it basically takes some time to add the mailed/external materials to your online app.

I am in the UK, working in securities trading and submitted my application on 10/12. I hope its not like Sloan, it's been 6 weeks since I submitted my app and still nothing!

I don't think any invites have gone out yet. The email I received confirming my application submission said: "The Admissions Committee will begin reviewing applications after the October 15 deadline. Initial notifications will begin in November and continue on a rolling basis according to the deadline for which you applied."
