I received a waitlist from NYU yesterday. How does this work? I don’t have an interview invite, so does this mean a waitlist for interview? Their FAQ states waitlist moves from spring.

Is anyone still waiting for the R2 interview invites? I see very less interview invites from Stern to assume they are done.

Indian applicants are getting their invite decisions very late. Final deadline is Jan 31 so expecting some news this week. In Round 1 also Indians got their decisions in mid-Dec when deadline was Dec 31. They were the last set of invites.
I'm a R2 applicant and have heard nothing either. Wondering if this is a ding. Seems there are a lot of people still waiting to hear ANY news which is crazy since I also saw that some R3 interviews have rolled out...

Wow. This is very strange. R3 interview invites are out while R2 applicants are still waiting Does NYU always follows this approach?
Theoretically, R2 applicants should hear back prior to R3 interview invites.

That's not happening with Stern. The deadline to hear back on R2 interview invite decision is Feb 1. Meanwhile few R3 applicants started receiving interview invites. Same thing happened with R1/R2 as well.
Hey, how do you know some R3 people started receiving interviews already? Would love to see how the timeline and process is for those applicants.

Nice congrats, so you applied R2? Good to know what a potential timeline looks like.
