Finally received my invite to interview. Its on the 3rd of December at a fixed time. Strange thing is, I will be interviewed via skype at a time when Olin is actually in India. Also, I will be interviewed by someone from Part Time MBA's office. They seem to be in a hurry to wrap things up. Lets hope for the best.

Congrats to those invited. Seems like there isn't a clear correlation between GMAT and the invites. Very diverse.

Just out of curiosity, is Olin very popular in India? It seems like most of the invites are going to India at least up until now.

Just out of curiosity, is Olin very popular in India? It seems like most of the invites are going to India at least up until now.

I'm from the US and got an interview invite. A high GMAT score doesn't automatically get you through the door, especially if this was a safety school for someone and they didn't put a lot of effort into the application or essays, AdCom can usually see through that.

Being an Indian applicant, I know that the percentage of Indians applying to US schools is quite high. And along with the invites, there has been a few Indian dings as well. So nothing to do with Olin I believe.

cladh True that! Treating a school as a safe bet has backfired more often that not for most people. More so in early rounds as you have literally no idea about the strength of your application and how schools are liking or disliking it in general.

stevkang8 , I felt the opposite till date. Despite high ranking Olin does not seem a very recognized program among Indian applicants as such, so can't read into the invites going to Indians mostly that well..
