Ashley said the official package would be sent within the next week. So I guess all new admitted applicants have not gotten information about the scholarship so far.

Btw, the picture of the thread was changed at least 1 week ago, if not earlier :-).

Congrats JWahid!!
I got some money. It is still very difficult for me to see you all in St. Louis this summer with this scholarship. I will try to negotiate with admission committee to get a better package.

Also, does anyone know whether B-schools accept to grant more scholarship if admitted applicant can improve GMAT score before the deposit deadline? I think of writing GMAT one more time because in this case the ROI will be huge :)

Most schools do that. If you improve it they basically consider it an upgrade of your skills from the time you submitted your application.

Good luck! Hopefully they will give you more! Especially if Jwahid goes to booth they should have tons of money left lol

I may lean towards unc fast to make one space for a waitlisted candidate :)

UNC is an awesome school and the city is definitely way better than St. Louis, congrats!

Olin is being very strange this year with scholarships distributions. Based on past experience it should be doing much better than this..... losing out on good talents now :(

I've lived in St.louis for 2years and it really is a great place. Try the cardinals game and the missouri botanical garden. U wont regret it :)

It's goodbye to Olin from my side too. No scholarship. Weird season wrt Olin. Hope this helps someone for whom the financial aspects aren't a concern.

So from the sounds of it no one had any luck petitioning being considered for a scholarship or increasing their scholarship? I applied to Olin because they have been very generous in the past and just shocked to see such a lack of scholarships this time around.
