Hello do I have a chance at Oxford SAID? gmat classic score of 660 (Q48,V33), 5 years of experience as a construction engineer, projects Ive worked on vary from $35 million USD to $600 milion USD. Current position is Senior Project Coordinator/ Assistant PM
Ive been having difficulty gauging whether my score is strong enough, as the average is 680 but most of the applicants ive seen on this group chat have the low 700s for GMAT classic
Helllo, GMAT scores depend mainly on your profile and demographics:
- If you come from an urrepresented background, you can have success with a GMAT lower than average
- If you come from an average represented background (e.g. US or EU), you should aim to be around the average
- If you come from an over-represented background (e.g. China, India), you should aim to be well above average since competition will be more fierce
Given these consideration and considering that applications for the 2024 intake for Said are now closed, if you're targeting Oxford I would focus on improving my GMAT score right now.
Hope this helps
