I'm a R1 applicant. I had a 640 GMAT, so I received a conditional offer in Oct'15. Now the offer is unconditional after I scored 660 on GMAT.

Admitted! Now the choice between Indian School of Business or Said Business School.

Well done! How did your interview go at Said? What sort of questions did you get?

Thanks

Interview went well. The questions were along the lines of those shared in the interview preparation tips email. Questions around why MBA, career progression till date, hobbies, why Oxford, post MBA career plans, which other schools was I applying to were asked.

hello! That is interesting to know. Were you asked to retake the GMAT after the completion of the interview? I have a 640 too.

When did you submit your form ? are you in Singapore or travelling for the interview
I am planning to submit it by Tuesday.

How much you wrote for the questions in Career Development section.
I feel 1000 characters are just too much for these kinds of questions; 2 essays, 5000 character-size roles & responsibilities and now so many uselxxx questions !!!

No traveling to Singapore, that was the only best option available to me. Yes, the careers development section is detailed :)

I think they ask for original copies of your academic transcripts so you might want to take these along. Common advice is also to take extra copies of resume just in case the interviewer forget to bring their copy.

Done with my interview with Mr Reynolds. Not very good. It started off very well but somehow he wasn't convinced with post MBA goals. His feedback was not encouraging so not having any hopes.

Would be great if you could elaborate a bit on the post-MBA goals bit, that he didn't buy. Do they ask you to foresee your specific future employment/ engagement and the chances of landing the same or is it a free flowing macro level 'outline your plan' Q? I got the interview prep mail today.

I'm from banking too. 5.5 yrs in Risk Mgt (Banking, Capital Markets, India) and intend to seek roles in Debt Cap. Mkts.

Personally I don't think these are a pass/ fail interviews, if the profile's good enough I think the school's gotta take a chance with the candidate. Views and market conditions do change after all.
