Congrats to all admitted guys!
I had my interview last week, R3 applicant, and wanted to post my experience.
Interview was over Skype with Emily from the Admissions team. Fairly conversational, she set the context right from the start. She asked a bunch of questions and took notes most of the times, so it was a bit distracting, but to be fair to her, she warned me about this. Following were the questions asked:
1. Walk me through you resume.
2. Why MBA right now?
3. As a team member, what has been your most significant achievement?
4. What was the one instance when you had to take an unpopular decision and why?
5. Since you have worked with both US and India teams, what are the major cultural differences in them?
6. What did you learn from working with US team? How did you adapt to working with them?
7. What does your current firm do?
8. As part of your client's strategy, how does your firm help them? (This was something I expected probably in a job interview, but was nevertheless prepared)
9. As part of the project and the client, what is the particular role you play?
As you can see, there were a fair bit of questions squeezed into about 25 minutes. She left about 5 minutes in the end to answer my questions and ended on a very happy note.
Fingers crossed and waiting for 15th May now!
