Every business school requires either one or two professional recommendation letters to be submitted by immediate supervisors and / or previous managers or skip level supervisors. On the application form you will have an opportunity to input details of your recommenders such as name, designation, and contact information. It is advised that you use your recommender's official email address to ensure authenticity. Once you submit your application, your recommenders should receive an email notification within 24 - 48 hours with a link to questions and prompts that the school requires for them to address for your candidature. The recommender must upload a PDF or directly answer in the text boxes provided on the portal before the application deadline. Pro tip: Do discuss your strengths and areas for improvement as well as certain key projects that highlight your leadership, communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills with your recommender. This will help them provide a well thought out narrative to complement your application.

How long does it take for the email to the recommender be sent? Context : I am taking my exam at Nov end and would then start working on the application. So, would there be enough time for the recommender to complete the questionnaire before the last submission date, say 5th Jan?
