Applying in Round 2 - One quick question: How do you submit the recommendations? Can someone please explain the procedure? Is it like we have to add our recommender details during the application process and the school will reach out to them later or there is a set of questions that we should get answered by our recommender and then upload that document during the application process?

Please help me understand this.

Thanks

Every business school requires either one or two professional recommendation letters to be submitted by immediate supervisors and / or previous managers or skip level supervisors.
On the application form you will have an opportunity to input details of your recommenders such as name, designation, and contact information. It is advised that you use your recommender's official email address to ensure authenticity.
Once you submit your application, your recommenders should receive an email notification within 24 - 48 hours with a link to questions and prompts that the school requires for them to address for your candidature. The recommender must upload a PDF or directly answer in the text boxes provided on the portal before the application deadline.
Pro tip: Do discuss your strengths and areas for improvement as well as certain key projects that highlight your leadership, communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills with your recommender. This will help them provide a well thought out narrative to complement your application.

[quote="VirFortis"]How long does it take for the email to the recommender be sent? Context : I am taking my exam at Nov end and would then start working on the application. So, would there be enough time for the recommender to complete the questionnaire before the last submission date, say 5th Jan?

Once you submit your application with the recommenders’ details, they should receive an email notification within 24 - 48 hours with a link to questions and prompts that the school requires for them to address for your candidature.
Given that Round 2 deadlines are close to holidays in December, it is advisable to give your recommender at least 3 weeks to provide a well thought out, and strong recommendation to complement your application.
Hence, your recommendation section should begin in parallel with your application process in the first week of December.

What's your source? Also, what does 'most' imply? Are they going by geography? Because the decision tracker shows very few invites.

decision tracker only shows a small proportions of invites/admits for each bschool

somebody who got an invite told me.. based on his interactions with adcom and remaining interview slots

Well it’s already November and decisions go on 7th December , right? As the time will pass , hopes will abate. It just seems like an early submission would have been handy with Tepper

QuabityAssurance, Give it some time. Tomorrow makes a month since the deadline. Therefore, I propose you give the process two weeks.

Hello guys. I was invited to interview on Oct 21 and had my interview yesterday. The interview lasted for only 28 mins, and while the lady was super nice and cordial, she didn't take any notes during the interview and just asked the list of questions that she had on her computer screen. She even mistakenly thought that I was from India (I am from Bangladesh).
I'm not sure what to make of this experience though. Aren't the interviewers supposed to write down notes for their reviews later on? Has anybody had a similar experience?

Sorry if I've stressed anybody out :P

Thank you!
