Calling all Tepper MBA Applicants: 2024 Intake Class of 2026

The visa process depends. It takes time in India and Bangladesh but it does not matter much cause the embassy opens bulk slots later on. The notice period thing is pretty much only India specific

And Tepper has a very low batch size (less than 200). Already there are 25+ Indians who have accepted Tepper. So chances of converting Tepper as an Indian is very low moving forward

Yeah sad state Fuqua and Ross accepted me but Tepper didn’t. Probably due to my relatively lower GMAT score for an Indian. A lot of folks got in at R1

I feel this year Round 1 was the way to go this year. I saw a lot of people get in round 1 with scholarship and people with similar or even better profiles getting rejected. I think it is due to the high volume of applicaitons this year

The review of this program by current and alumni students is very poor. They say the academic directors Brad Eiben and Kyle Hayes are no good in supporting the cohort with placements. They banned access to the school building when some people raised some serious escalations upto the president level about the quality of this program. I say avoid at all cost. Spend a little more and go to a decent university and not a money making exploitive school. No statistics anywhere about the placements nor packages.

I'm only applying to two places: CMU Tepper and IU Kelley for thier online programs. 

I only recently decided to apply, but luckily even though I applied well past the round 4 deadline for CMU, they were gracious enough to put me into the round 4 decision and got my interview and GMAT waiver all set up a day after I applied. 

Anyone know what interviews this late into the process are like? What are they looking for? Thanks!

R4 means they don't have good quality applicants or quantity. The odds are higher for you to get in.

They waived GMAT means you got a decent profile. CMU is easy to get in they have very average quality of students so not much competition.

any news from round 3 waitlisted people ?

I got in via phone call on May 31st for round 4. Got $20k scholarship but will either defer or not take it based on other options. Did a test waiver. Online/Hybrid Program. 

We are actively reviewing our Waitlist and our review is ongoing. We will continue to review the Waitlist and will release updated admission decisions by Friday, June 28.
