Hey I got an interview invite, but there it says that we have to send our official transcripts within 15 days!!! That’s next to impossible for Indian students. My university takes good one month to process the transcripts. Also, other universities require official transcripts after giving an admit, why is UCLA asking for them now?
Congratulations on the invite.
Back in my day, you had to submit your transcript during the application process, so you are you are a bit spoiled 😂
Perhaps this is a new policy or a change of policy and maybe they didn’t quite think through it very accurately or carefully. I would contact your undergraduate University and request your transcript and get the timeline. Then I would email the school and notify them about the timeline that you were given and perhaps patted a little bit. I’m sure they will be very understanding.
PS. My guess is that you may not be the only international to receive an interview invite, so perhaps they’ll be others in the same boat.
Posted from my mobile device Actually it's somewhat possible for me to send the transcripts, but it's almost impossible to take out the diplomas. UCLA also requires diplomas to be sent from the issuing authority, but it's a tough ask as I am currently posted at a pretty remote location near Myanmar border for work. I have written to the school and asked them if I can send those if admitted to the program.
