For those looking through these forums in the future... my timeline was:
Submitted app deadline day 1/16
Recommenders submitted 2-3 weeks after
Skype interview 3/5
Admit call from interviewer Sunday, 3/15
Portal updated 3/16.

Happy to see that interviewing late and not in person did not sink my ship.

Congrats to the other admits. And if you didn't get in right now, don't lose hope - I went through 6 straight rejections before breaking though, so keep your head up.

Happy for you!

I know when R2 came out a while ago, it was nice being able to ignore the "please apply to our program" emails from a bunch of other schools. I nearly did 5 or 6 R3 applications at schools I wasn't really considering initially because I was afraid I wouldn't get in anywhere.

So https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/en/adm ... ships.aspx states that fellowship notifications are sent out 7-10 days after the decision release date. But there is a notification of fellowships appearing on decision release date. Does that mean just specific information comes out within 7-10 days but you know right away whether or not you receive a fellowship? Or does that mean there are other possibilities that can come up within 7-10 days?

Please look again on the web-site "Every admissions applicant is automatically reviewed for fellowship consideration. Fellowship notifications are sent out 7-10 days after the decision release for each deadline."

if so, (ref to my post above) I am curious why some applicants got their fellowship decisions today and some will get them in 7-10 days?

So did you get an email regarding fellowship details? I haven't till now and it was written that it will arrive by the end of the day!

To all admitted folks, by what time did you get the scholarship email? It's 9:30 already in the night there and I still haven't received any such mail. Should I mail them to ask? Is there a particular emailID I should write to, or the general admissions contact?
