Got a video and admissions interview invite last Monday. Will be doing my video tomorrow and flying out to Seattle over the weekend to meet an adcom for the actual thing.

Excited!

Did they give you more than a week to do the video interview, then? The deadline for me was the 9th - exactly a week after the invite was sent.

Good luck on the f2f. Let us know how it goes!

After completing the short video responses did anyone of you get the main admissions interview invite?

Nope. I'm hoping for next week, but after that it will probably be a done deal. Just going off of earlier rounds post here in the thread - the scant few f2f invites that were sent out were done so between a week and 10 days after UW received the responses. So, maybe next week.

Looks like a lot of us got video invites but few got F2F...tough round for gmatclub? Unless F2F interviews following the video interviews are still to come. Pretty bummed felt good about this application.

I sincerely hope they will invite more interviews. I was also quite hopeful for an interview call. Today is President's day- a holiday in UW, but...

This is the first time that Foster is using the 'video interview' concept, and I understand they are still experimenting with it. I suppose receiving that 'invite' for the video interview may not have been as positive a sign as we had hoped for. Anyway, fingers crossed! good luck :)

I have the interview in Taiwan today.

1. What's your contribution to your company ?
2. Why Foster?
3. What's ur advantages ?
4. What's the thing you have done surprises you the most ?
5, what's the most risky thing you have done ?
6. What can you contribute to Foster classmates?
7. Why MBA?
8. What's your entertainment out of work?
9. Tell me a experience you have conflicts with your boss
10. Some resume questions
11. Do you want me to ask anything you have prepared?
12. Ask Questions

Sarah was quite nice and she arrived just on time, so I was worried that I miss
ed the interview or went to the wrong place. Hope it helps :)

It was described to me as a middle-ground invite. They like you on paper, but are still bit iffy, so instead of going to the extent of a f2f, they offer a few questions. I'm still convinced that if any more f2f invites are to go out for video-interview people, it will be this week. After that...I'm not going to hold out much hope for anything. It is a super small cohort and we are in R3, so far fewer spots are open than in R2.

You may be right about it being tough for gmat club. Who knows how many others who are not on forums got an invite. This is so stressful! :(

As far as I know, the approximate number of recruitment in R3 vs R2 or R1 is the same (the MBA admissions director told me this). R4 gets really competitive. On the other hand, the limitation in R3 is the scholarship, they have very little money left.
Sorely regretting not applying sooner...

Aargh the silence is getting to me! Don't you think that rationally, by now the F2F invites ought to have been sent for those who received only the video interview invite.

Thinking about it was distracting me, so I am not thinking about it anymore. I suggest the same to you.
FYI, some of the staff is still out interviewing the first batch of interviewees.
I, too, was quite hopeful of getting a F2F, but it is what it is. They still have 6 weeks to make an R3 decision, so it is quite possible they might invite more interviews. Or not.
Good luck to everyone who had F2F interviews, and here's wishing that others like me get an F2F. Cheers!

I am going to assume that the dead silence in this thread means that no one has received a f2f interview invite since they submitted the video responses.

I feel like if we were going to hear back, it would have been by now.

This sucks. UW was/is a top pick of mine.

New to GMAT Club so I wanted to share my experience with UW- I applied r3 and got a video and f2f interview invitation at the same time (the emails came within a few mins of each other). Went to interview early Feb and have not heard a final decision.

I have a few friends who worked in admissions, and they said not to get discouraged when you dont hear as early as you think you should. It takes them a long time to go trough everything. Sometimes, unfortunately, they have to extend invitations later than they would like.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Shanmo, and hope you get good news soon from UW.
However, I am not very hopeful of getting an interview offer at this point as the classes will soon be over and a campus visit will be pretty pointless. So, I would assume all the interview invitations would have gone out by now.
Also, based on previous round experiences, the best one can hope for without an F2F so far is a WL. Otherwise, it will most certainly be a no. Sorry to be so negative, guys. I am also very disappointed.
