Honestly I dont think so! I have heard of an incident where 1 person did that in 2019 and she is now in Wharton. It just shows you are attentive.

It may be for their undergraduate program. I remember some colleges for undergrad letting you know ahead of time by phone if you’re a special applicant (sports recruit, child of a donor, etc)

I checked Clear Admit and it seems like last year R2 applicants got emails around 10am. So we might have a little longer to wait.

Also the interview invites this year came out at 11am EST if I remember correctly.
