I think it really depends on the region and also chance. I’ve heard adcom told that the system assigns random 5 applicants per adcom per day and that’s how they decide.
I received my invite a couple of days after I submitted application, but I wouldn’t read much into this. I’m an international, but my application is perhaps not so strong, I believe it was just a chance.

Hi guys! I have a question.
i’ve had an interview with a 2nd year MBA student and at the end she shared her email. I wrote a thank you note after the interview, but she never replied. I wrote thank you notes for other universities and always received a reply and I’m sort of puzzled now. Is this a bad sign? Maybe the interviewers are not supposed to reply? Maybe she didn’t like me? Maybe email went to junk? What do you guys think? What was your experience?

Anyone applied for the Silver Scholars Program got invited for interview? I submitted my application a few days before 9/14, haven’t heard anything yet.

Hi all! Is SOM a decent school to shortlist if you’re interest in management consulting? I hear many others mentioning social impact, and it makes me feel like that’s the primary focus
