ayyy, forgot to update. R3 Extended, applied 5/3, interview invite 6/12, interviewed 6/16, interviewer said decisions would be made likely this current week of 6/22-27.

Also, adding to that: I was told by an adcom that SOM received far more applications in R3 extended than they ever would have thought - that means that they might not have gotten to all the applications yet. Hoping the best for y'all!

If we applied for the Round 3 extended (May 27) and haven't received an interview invite, do you think it's not going to happen at this point? Or to the users point above that they haven't gotten to everyone yet, so it might still be possible?

I know, I did too. Just wondering if we didn't get invited for an interview at this point, we're just going to be notified that we were denied? Or do you think there's still a chance for an interview?

To give all the round 3 hopefuls some perspective.. I was waitlisted R2 without interview so I believe I was evaluated against all Round 3 applicants in the final admission reviews. I was invited to interview 6/15, interviewed 6/17, received a call from the adcom 6/22 asking about my current situation, and I'm just eagerly waiting at this point.

I agree with you there is a possibility we were denied. But I am also thinking Yale is waiting for the r2 and r1 ‘accepted’ applicants to make their final decisions...the r3x actual enrollment counts could be depending on how many students reject the admission...

Finally got dinged off the WL w/o interview. Not too bummed about it since my application was a long shot anyway. Got the ding 6/30 but GMATClub isn't allowing me to select a date beyond my initial WL decision. [#permalink]
