Those of you who applied in Round 1! How'd the essays go? It's that time of the year where some of you begin to receive Interview invites. Wishing You All the best!
Is 700 GMAT good enough for Yale. I am an Indian citizen and US Permanent Resident with 10 years of total experience in Oil & Gas and consulting. After getting rejected from Harvard today, I am weighing my options again. Don't know, if I should be too hopeful about Yale. Will appreciate your feedback. Thanks all.

Hi KushGakhar, you can use the filters in the decision tracker to get the admit/ding results of prior Yale applicants based on the nationality, GMAT score, etc. I just pulled a list of Indian students who got into Yale in the last 3 years and checked their GMAT scores. 720 is the lowest GMAT score among all Indian Yale admits.. https://gmatclub.com/forum/decision-tra ... &status=10

Thanks Narenn. Do you think having US PR puts someone in a different bucket, and how important is the work experience duration; with 10 years am I too late for a full time MBA. I couldn't find many cases with my level of experience getting an admit into a top MBA program. Thanks
Hey there Yale hopefuls! Anybody thinking of Round 2? Have any Questions? Or Do you have something to share? You're looking at the right place to do it. Go ahead!
Hopeful theory: Yale was hit hard last year by an app drop. If they got hit again this year, they may be slow to send Interview invites because they’re trying to calibrate a weaker pool of candidates.
They sent out an e-mail explaining what happens after you hit submit. Wonder if that was a response to a ton of people e-mailing them asking when they'll hear back about interviews haha.

Probably wishful thinking, but who knows. Maybe the pool isn’t what they expected. It’s all very strange.
