Hello everyone! I am very excited to be joining CBS and just wanted to add this info: The admissions representative told me that they don't decide on merit-based fellowships until after the January 3rd deadline, with announcements normally coming in late February or the beginning of March. If you asked to be considered, your application will be reviewed once again then, along with the other admits' in consideration. Hope everyone's having a good week!

Hi Everyone - is there an admitted student social group (whatsapp/fb/slack)? Also, did anyone receive anything in their mailbox? an official letter or something else? (came across this while reading last year admitted student threads)

Received a 'Welcome to Columbia' email from one of the adcoms. Additionally, after paying the deposit, the application portal reflected a letter of joining. Nothing else I believe.

Hi Admits, We are looking to do a short post-decision interview or talk on the application process in general, how it helped you grow as a person, any takeaways and advice for future applicants, and things you could have done better; something similar to this. Anyone would like to volunteer for this? If interested, Pls PM me. PS: 1) It's your choice whether to do video or just audio interview. 2) You can do interview under your real name or forum username; choice is yours.

Congrats to everyone accepted. I know this is a strange question, but I wanted to ask if anyone has received their welcome package yet and what was included. I received mine but was not home to accept the package, and some less than classy person had ripped open my package and also ripped my welcome letter. If you guys could let me know what was supposed to be inside, that would be great because I don’t want to trouble adcom if it’s not something important or nice.
