Many thanks for submitting an application to join the Cambridge MBA programme. The Admissions Committee has carefully considered your application and has decided not to invite you to interview at this time. However, the Committee found aspects of your application interesting and has decided to place you on a short interview waiting list.
Can anyone tell me, is this the standard rejection letter, or is there actually a waitlist? I know Duke sends something similar to this out and it means you're rejected 99.99% of the time.

I received a similar response. This is not their standard rejection letter. This means you have been put on a waitlist. I have seen waitlisted candidates being called to interview in the following rounds for Judge, however, i'm not sure what percentage of applicants get converted from waitlisted to interviewed..
For those who are invited to interview, has the Adcom responded to your date/ slot selection? I haven't received an acknowledgement from them for 12 days.
