Has anyone decided to matriculate at Rice? I understand, we have time till 31st Jan to pay the first deposit.

That's sufficient time I guess to hear about the results of your other apps. Also, you have a pretty decent GMAT. Do you think that played a substantial role in getting scholarship from Rice?

Hi Narenn,

Rice, typically is quite generous with scholarships. In my case I had been to Houston for a school visit and had interacted with the Rice admissions team multiple times throughout the application process to discuss and demonstrate my fit with the Rice MBA, which I believe, in addition to my GMAT and profile, helped secure a scholarship.

Hi All,

In the acceptance letter it has been mentioned :
"Your first deposit due date is Friday, January 31, 2020. Your second deposit due date is: Friday, February 28, 2020."

Is anybody aware what are these 2 dates for, and how much deposit we need to make?

What I could gather from the website is that the deposit can be paid in 2 installments and hence the 2 separate dates.

I believe $1000 is due first and then the rest is due in Feb. Total $2,500.

Yes, even I felt so. But better to be sure.
I am thinking to write them and get the confirmation.
I also have one of my friend's friend already studying there, will try to get the info, and will share here accordingly.

Hey Guys,

Is any of you thinking about deferring their admission to fall 2021?
Any did anyone speak to the school on the same?

Please let me know if any of you have any insights on this.
