Hey Guys,

I have my interview tonight. Any advice? What kind of questions should i expect?

The interview is video right? Just be confident and speak clearly. If you got to this point you stand a very good chance. I know a guy who straight up answered a question along the lines of "I've never thought of that. If I had some time to research, I could get back to you". And he got in and was very successful.

They're mostly gonna be fit questions.

Hey I gave my interview a month back and havent heard from them yet. Getting a bix anxious as of this point.

I hope I will receive a reply via mail on their decision (good or bad). Any experience on how long they take to get back with a decision? Havent received any kind of correspondance from the college since my Kira Interview a month ago! :(

Hi Guys,

I am in the middle of my application process. I have a doubt. Should a former instructor at the post-secondary level provide a letter of recommendation? I thought it was just employers who had to provide letters of recommendation.

You can submit two professional references too. I did so, Ryerson didn't have a problem.

I am applying to MBA/MTI. Can anyone share some placement stats of recent years? I have an overall 5 years of experience in IT.

MihirM10 : It depends on the number of applications they have at that point in time. It took around 45 days for me, but I know people who got their result in a couple of weeks also.

ImAnkitKaushik : They don't share their placement stats exclusively (In terms of the names of the companies and the number of people who got placed). They do mention the percentage and the fields that people have gone into. But regarding MTI, after talking to some current students. I know that there are a lot of tech companies which are specifically looking for Ted Rogers' MBA MTI graduates. As I have myself applied for MBA Global, I am not really sure about the names of the tech companies which have recruited from the school.

FYI, once you're in, it's pretty easy to transfer to MTI if you decide to do that. Dale is a great teacher (only teaches Global strategy), but there are definite benefits to focusing on Tech and Innovation.

MTI grads ended up at places like: Gartner, IDC, Deloitte, Optimus|SBR (lot of global people went there too), Scotia, Bombardier, Rogers (not as many as you'd think given the name of the school), Bayer, P&G, Bell, Telus, PwC, GM...lots of reputable employers.

Hey Guys,

Just started to prepare my applications for the Ryerson MBA. A brief of my profile:

5 years of work experience in business consulting, marketing and sales. Work experience primarily in solutions building for telecommunications and cloud computing.

Bachelor in engineering, Visvesvaraya technology university Bangalore, 59%

GMAT: 560 q42 v25

Can’t retake gmat since I am working professional. Took me a year to prep. Hopefully my overall profile can compensate for the gaps.

For my work experience in technology industry the MBA MTI is my first choice program And perfect fit for my future career.

Do I have any chances of acceptance

I received an offer a few days back for the Global MBA. Have been asked to take 3 Canadian Business courses as well. Looking forward to meeting everyone :)
