Hi guys,

Can anyone give some idea about how much preparation is needed to crack TOEFL.

I have completed all my education in English medium and have submitted query regarding waiver but don't want to take chance.
Is it possible to prepare and take the test within 5-8 days :(? I have not seen even a sample paper of TOEFL till now.

Any response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
Hey, I prepared for about 3 days and gave my TOEFL and scored 114. After GMAT, this is a very easy exam to tackle. Just familiarize yourself with the format of the exam and practice Speaking and Listening questions. The Writing and reading part is a breeze compared with the GMAT. The only problem you might face is getting a test date that early.

Hey thanks a lot. At least now I am feeling a bit better :)
Will try for dates then.

Hi all,

I'm applying to scheller for full time MBA in the Jan'17 deadline. I have a GMAT score of 700 and a TOEFL score of 102.

My post MBA goal is to be a category manager in an e-commerce firm and i'm currently working in supply chain management function with 4 years of work experience.

Can you comment on my chances of admission with scholarship?

Guys,

2 questions :

1. Do we need to send the official GMAT/TOEFL scores to GeorgiaTech or whether the unofficial PDF uploads will do ?
2. Does anyone have contact details of current students ? I have some queries regarding the curriculum but am having a hard time finding anyone. I tried contacting the adcom, but haven;t heard back yet, its been 3-4 days.

Hello all,
Am at the verge of finishing my application. Just wanted to confirm if WES evaluation is a must for Scheller.
Is it fine if we report the GPA with respect to University metrics ?

Thanks

Hey. WES evaluation is not required. Yea you can and should(in my opinion) report Gpa in your university metrics itself. That's what I had done. Good luck bro.

1. Yes, official GMAT score is required. Unofficial won't be accepted. In fact, you will have to report your official TOEFL score as well (Indian applicants)
2. You can contact the MBA Admission Ambassadors. They'll be more than happy to help! I tried contacting a few and almost all responded.

Hey!
Let me update this for anyone having the same query.
So, the adcom responded, albeit a bit late. Unofficial scores are acceptable for submitting the app, official are required for admission.

Thanks slug I just wish that I had that news before I paid for reporting these official scores. Having said that, I still see that my application shows "GMAT and TOEFL awaiting" when I already have uploaded my unofficial scores. That's bizarre!

Yeah, same here. Even I had already paid before they responded :D I guess it's a software glitch and can be ignored but you might want to confirm with the adcom ...

There is no movement on the thread. Almost two weeks have passed. Has anyone received an interview invite. Looking at Round 1 turnaround time, the school rolled out interview invites in a week's time. My application at the moment say - "To the department for review"

Where are you all in the application cycle?

Hi, can somebody confirm how many recommendations are required? On the application check list, it says that minimum 03 recommendations are required? Also, what is the last date to submit the recommendations?

Hey, only 2 recommendations are required. Recommendations are due one month after the application deadline. Hope this helps! Good luck!
