Hi Guys,
I gave my interview last week, it went super well and my decision date is on April 5th as the ad-com said they are treating my application as an R3 app, in spite of me having applied in R2 (I had to send over my university transcripts which took a while).
Now I face a conundrum. I already have an admit to the University of Rochester's Simon Business School with a pretty hefty scholarship. My primary goals of doing an MBA is to see if I can bring an idea of mine that I've had for the past year or so to-life and use the network I will get to help connect with a potential VC who can fund me, and my back-up plan is to get into strategy consulting which isn't too far away decision sciences, the space I work in right now.
I had applied to ASU keeping in mind the school's strong entrepreneurial focus, and also the fact that if I get a 100% scholarship I will have every avenue to pursue entrepreneurship in earnest as I will be having a very small liability and not have too much of loans dangling over my head. But I need to pay an enrollment deposit for Simon by April 1st, which is 4 days before I can get a decision from ASU. But one thing which is enticing about Simon MBA this year is that it is STEM accredited and that it is being touted as one of the most pursued MBA's in terms of employability of its students due to the STEM aspect.
I wanted to understand you guys who would know a lot about ASU, about what you feel given my situation and if ASU is a viable school to get into strategy/pricing consulting.
