I understand your situation.. when are you expecting the other School's decision to come out. Wish you all the best.
You already have a great option so the burden will not be that much. Enjoy the moment....
Cheers !!!

Hi D3N0, thank you.
Actually, I just applied for only 2 schools and both schools are my favorite. I will wait for the remaining school's decision because I want to compare the scholarship between 2 schools (if I have admission & scholarship of 2 schools). For me, WP Carey is so generous. So it probably is an easy choice.

Hello Folks,

I was actually an R1 Waitlist applicant at ASU. The school requested if I was willing to retake my GMAT. I did attempt another go but unfortunately, I was unable to improve the score considering the limited duration and other applications going on. Anyways, that affected my chances for the Full-time program however I have been offered an admit for the Professional Flex MBA with a generous scholarship and the option to add a second degree as a STEM.

Has any international student received an admit for the flex program? I don't have much information about this and would be great to connect with someone with a similar offer.

Hello everyone! I scheduled an on campus interview with WP Carey on 18th, Feb. Did anyone already finish the interview with the school? I just want to know how to prepare and what kinds of questions they are going to ask.
Thank you!

Hello,

I have my interview scheduled for tonight. Are business casuals okay for the Skype interview?

Also, any last minute tips?

BE professionally dressed.
Overdressing will not harm you, but underdressing will.

Even I was offered the same.

The questions were exactly the same as mentioned in the debriefing by D3N0. Remember to stay calm.

Hi Guys,

I gave my interview last week, it went super well and my decision date is on April 5th as the ad-com said they are treating my application as an R3 app, in spite of me having applied in R2 (I had to send over my university transcripts which took a while).

Now I face a conundrum. I already have an admit to the University of Rochester's Simon Business School with a pretty hefty scholarship. My primary goals of doing an MBA is to see if I can bring an idea of mine that I've had for the past year or so to-life and use the network I will get to help connect with a potential VC who can fund me, and my back-up plan is to get into strategy consulting which isn't too far away decision sciences, the space I work in right now.

I had applied to ASU keeping in mind the school's strong entrepreneurial focus, and also the fact that if I get a 100% scholarship I will have every avenue to pursue entrepreneurship in earnest as I will be having a very small liability and not have too much of loans dangling over my head. But I need to pay an enrollment deposit for Simon by April 1st, which is 4 days before I can get a decision from ASU. But one thing which is enticing about Simon MBA this year is that it is STEM accredited and that it is being touted as one of the most pursued MBA's in terms of employability of its students due to the STEM aspect.

I wanted to understand you guys who would know a lot about ASU, about what you feel given my situation and if ASU is a viable school to get into strategy/pricing consulting.

I've submitted my application by R2 but still I've been told that I'd be considered for R3. I hope they send out the decisions earlier. Did anyone write a mail? I am planning to do so

Edit: I feel dumb :( i applied in R3 and got confused.

I received my acceptance email for the online MBA program yesterday! The process is a little different than the full time MBA program, no interview, rolling admissions (I did not have to wait until a deadline to be considered). I know this thread is geared towards full time but I did not see anywhere else that talks about the online program and I wanted to share my experience. Good luck to everyone!

McKinsey will post on ASU career site for full time position. I have a friend who has no consulting background got an interview with them. I have another friend who get MBA from Simon and she does not like the career service that much. You can pay a deposit for Simon and wait for ASU decision. I believe this is a small opportunity cost compared to the alternative.

I think that's why W.P.Carey has case interview. They're aiming to become a consulting school.
