Hello,
I am looking forward to applying for M.Sc. Finance for 2017 intake.
My profile is as follows:
1. GMAT score: 730
2. GPA: well, we do not use GPA in India, so I am not sure about that. I have 62% in Bachelor of Commerce, which, as per some random calculator I found online comes to around 3.00 out of 4.00.
3. I am a Chartered Accountant from India
4. I have 3 years of internship experience in Audit, Taxation and Transfer Pricing
5. By the time I start school I will have another year of work experience (an actual job this time) in Corporate Finance in Wipro (quite a huge corporation)
6. I speak following languages:
a. Spanish: level B1
b. French: beginners
7. I haven't taken a TOEFL yet, but I think I can achieve the required level.
8. I have some decent international exposure due to my languages and the 1 year I spent in Sweden for a Cultural Exchange programme.
I have been looking at HEC, Imperial, ESSEC, ESCP, ESADE, IE, Bocconi, etc.
However, I feel only HEC meets all the criteria I have set.
Others are either too expensive, offer very few scholarships, have bad rankings, require proficiency in a foreign language, or the duration is too long.
I would really appreciate some opinions as I am quite torn about any decision I should take a.t.m.
So thank you in advance for replying.
Regards
Aishwarya (I am a female)
