anyone with similar status ?
(do you think it’s even practical to keep any hope now ? as R3 results would be on 3rd May. Visa processing takes time...)

I am going to be honest, I was waitlisted with interview, as an American and I am debating on taking myself off the waitlist because I hate doing things last minute. I don’t want to have to figure out living situation/financing etc last minute. Good luck to all you guys that are trying to figure out visas.

I will mostly withdraw from the priority waitlist myself. Last year I was in a similar situation and offered an admit last week of May. Unsurprisingly, it was too late to initiate visa process and get everything done on time. All deadlines for pre-MBA experience passed till then. Plus, no scholarship offered then since they probably run out of funds by that time . I am glad I applied to alternate programs and deciding which ones to attend instead. I also feel that missing out on admit events and other events for admitted students compromises the overall experience of being admitted to a dream program in the first place. I will wait till April 21 and withdraw thereafter.
