Hi everyone, I'm having a tough time making a decision and would love your input! I am accepted into Columbia EMBA, Kellogg MBA and Duke MBA. I want to move into innovation at a pharma company. I live and work in New York City and have 6 years of experience in healthcare strategy consulting at a top 3 firm. Here's my perspective, feel free to contribute yours!
Columbia EMBA:
-Maintain career trajectory and standard of living in the city
-Maintain and expand professional network
-Ivy League, good brand reputation at pharma companies in the tri-state area
-No nonsense curriculum
-Limited ability to do travel abroad or student clubs because I will have to maintain a F/T job
-But very expensive, no corporate sponsorship (work in a start-up right now)
Duke:
-Small town, community feel
-Full-time, so have to leave job
-Good, holistic healthcare-focused program, well-recognized brand name globally
Kellogg:
-Chicago (lived there before so I'm acquainted with the city)
-Very specific classes for medical innovation management - perfect for next steps in my career
-Also great healthcare-focused program, well-recognized brand name
-But I'm not interested in recruiting for Midwest companies. My goal would be to move back to New York or Boston or move to the West Coast
-Full-Time
Tough decision :/ any help would be very appreciated
