Hi vincio998,

To start, a V40 is an outstanding Verbal performance - and if you're consistently scoring at that level, then that's fantastic. With a V40, you don't have any big 'weak spots' in the Verbal section, so we would have to nitpick your performances a bit to determine WHY you are getting questions wrong (as there are likely patterns in those wrong answers). In addition, your overall application might benefit more from raising your Quant Scaled Score a couple of points than by raising your Verbal Scaled Score a couple of points - so if you're 2 weeks from your Official Test Date, then you might want to reorganize your study priorities.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When is your exact Official Test Date?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Thank you everyone.
I have been studying since the beginning of July, 5/6 hours a day using all Gmat Official. My scores have been since 24th of August: 710 (Q48, V40) 700 (44,41) 720 (47, 41) 690 (45,40). My goal is 750 on the 24th of September date for LBS, Oxford, HEC, LSE.
Maybe I do careless errors in quant...

Hi vincio998,

The data in your CAT Scores does show some 'swings' in your Quant performances - and since you're interested in some highly-competitive Schools, doing the necessary work to lock in a higher Quant Scaled Score would be a good idea.

1) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

Yes, I agree with you. I do not know why as I have always been good in mathematics and I am pursuing an heavily quantitative economics course.
I think I can dedicate 6 hours a day and, if necessary, even more.
