Hi all,
I noticed that the last time I took the GMAT, my appointment number was somewhere in the 300 millions.
Do you think that this number might reflect the total number of times the GMAT has been taken worldwide? If so, then that's a lot of money: (300 million) x ($250/attempt) = 75 BILLION dollars in revenue.

The GMAT is taken about 250,000 times each year.
Each year, GMAC puts out a summary of the test-takers, the results by country/state, and so on.

Thanks for the info. 300 million would be too high if there are "only" 1 million attempts at the GMAT every 4 years, even if we take into account that the GMAT has been around for decades. I wonder what the appointment number stands for, then.
