Extracurriculars/Volunteering: Equity analyst at university investment club, selected to attend a program called Emerging Health Leaders based on merits of academics/leadership (received 5K scholarship to attend), communications/outreach organizer for a community tech club, soccer coach, spinal cord rehab volunteer, athletic therapy volunteer, some other scholarships related to leadership/academics
Planning to write GMAT by November (TARGET: ~730)
For the MSc Finance program, I am lacking slightly in quantitative courses & relevant finance experiences. What do you guys think, do I stand a good chances at the listed programs? And also, any other programs you recommend?
Hey dude,
Well your profile is pretty good. You have excellent grades, and have done some interesting thing in internships and work, and also in your ECs. There's no reason for you not to apply to top programs.
Obviously, since these are per-experience programs, the GMAT will weigh heavily. So with a 730+ you are in pretty good shape.
I would only add that the three programs you have listed are literally the hardest ones to get into (but you knew that, didn't you?
So when you come up with an application strategy, try and mix it up and add a few other schools you like that are a bit down the line.
I hope this helps!
Best,
JF
