Does anybody know the order in which interview invites are offered?
Is it chronological based on the time you submitted your application, you then will then be reviewed? E.g. If I submitted the last day, should I expect the invite (if any) to be towards the end of the interview invite period.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they are first evaluating everyone who has submitted a score and waiting till the last week to evaluate those who haven't submitted a score. That gives those who haven't submitted a score some more time to submit one before they are finished sending out interview invites. Probably the most practical thing to do in their eyes.
However, I believe it would make the most sense to evaluate the whole deferred applicant pool at once, since there is very few applicants (~100?). Since scores are not required until this summer, I don't think that they expect many people to take the tests right now.
I see where you are coming from, and I guess no one knows for sure. Also, there's no telling if most people were able to get their GMAT done before test centers closed, and those who weren't able to take it (or retake it) actually represent only a small fraction of the Deferred applicant pool.
That being said, I would expect the deferred pool to be a bit larger than 100; Harvard's 2+2 receives 1000-1300 applicants each year, so I imagine Stanford's Deferred MBA for college seniors should garner a reasonably identical applicant pool size.
All in all, theres no telling how the adcom. will review applications of those with scores vs. no scores. I always thought no matter what they said, they would definitely give preference to those with scores... but maybe thats just the cynic in me. Hopefully I'm wrong

Right now, I have my GMAT scheduled at the start of May... hoping to get it over with then!
