My background:
- CFA charterholder, BBA from Dubai
- 5 years of work experience in Financial Advisory in Saudi
- Immigration is in process for Canada
- unemployed from past 5 years (because I am a married expat woman in Saudi)
- So past years I have occupied myself with financial writing, stock market investing, freelance financial model and feasibility studies projects.
I figure Canada's job market is extremely tough and because I plan to move there sooner or later so might as well do a local degree. I am still trying to figure out and finalise my future career path but I am leaning towards equity research, corporate strategy or PE. (As I said I have not finalised)
What are my chances of getting into good universities like Rotman or Schulich?
I am 33
I guess a little older than most MBA candidates. By the time I apply and get admission I will be 35.
Will it be at all possible to get into full time or even part time MBA at this age and after years of unemployment? Will it be at all possible to re launch my career in mid 30s and that too in canada? If yes, how should I plan approach it?
