If it ends up being the last thing between you and a virtually identical candidate, then yes. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry. Congratulations on the score and I wish you the best with your applications!

If I were you, I would retake the test for a better IR score. As you correctly note, the competition is high to realize your goal, so it makes sense to work harder so as to strengthen your credential.
