Hello All

I registered my profile on mba.com and got the notification that within 48 hrs I will hear from them, so now am unable to register the date.

Is this usual?? I am in India.

I'm not sure what's going on here. You should be able to book another appointment even if you have an existing appointment. Can you post the actual message you received?

That's very strange, as mba.com allows even a brand new account to schedule and pay for a GMAT exam. Try again after some time or reach out to their customer care?

That's very strange, as mba.com allows even a brand new account to schedule and pay for a GMAT exam. Try again after some time or reach out to their customer care?

Its working now. It seems they process a new profile in 48 hrs and then activate it for registration etc.

I too got the same message that i need to check back after 48hours. Were you able to register for the exam only after 2 days after you saved your profile?

Yes, within 48 hrs the account was active, so you needn't worry.

If not done in 48 hrs, write a mail to MBA.com, they are prompt in addressing concerns.

Just something to keep in mind - not all test centers will have availability in short notice. Many of these testing centers are booked up with appointments of lots of other tests - not just for GMAT.

So just be aware that each testing center could be different in terms of times and availability.

Yes, you will receive an email stating it is activated and you can continue your registration after receiving that email.

Generally how much time does it take to activate the profile? I am planning to give the GMAT i the next two days and I am facing the same issue. Also is it that after the verification process I can book my date for test that is after 24 hours?

Hello! I actually registered and took the test in two days (I am from Spain) . I would strongly suggest you to call by telephone since based on my experience, as long as there are slots you can take the exam!

pd: please kudos :)

After saving my profile while registering, it says that it takes 48hrs to process and proceed further.. I haven’t chosen the dates yet. So after 48hrs if I want make changes in the profile(like first name), will I be able to do it.? Please help!

There are some fields that test takers cannot update. If I remember correctly, name is one of them. If you have to make any changes there, you'll have to get in touch with Pearson customer support.
