I have a doubt about the inference questions in RC & CR. If one of the answer options is a Re-phrase of Stated Premise, would that option be a correct answer or the wrong one?

Reason for this doubt is that technically, inference should mean something that has to be inferred/derived from the text. However, a re-phrased line can be considered as inferred and non-inferred.

Your instinct is right here. If something is explicitly stated in the passage, it's not considered an inference.
