Hi Mate,
GMATPrep, just like real GMAT, has some "experimental" questions, which do not count when calculating the raw score. It might be the case that you got them wrong.
+Number of questions answered incorrectly has nothing to do with the overall score. Moreover, it is the difficulty level of the overall set that determines the score.
Say you answer incorrectly first 10 questions - test usually starts with medium level questions - therefore, it would be very hard to get to very difficult questions.
Now, say you answer incorrectly 10 questions, but 1 incorrect after say every 4-5 questions answered correctly (you started with medium - 5 straight correct and got to super difficult one - then answer the difficult question incorrectly, and so on..). The difficulty level graph would be totally different from that of the first scenario...

I was not aware that GMAT Prep also had experimental questions.
I think that was the catch for me..
