Hello everyone,
I have a question.
I got admitted to Durham University for MSc Management 2020 entry. However, I wanted to get into RSM University to study MSc Strategic Management, so I got a conditional offer with the condition to pass the GMAT with at least 600. However, I went to the exam centre and got a disappointing 530 (twice) (despite the fact that during practice exams I got 630). The deadline to submit the score is tomorrow, which automatically means that I'm rejected from RSM for 2020.
Can you please advise if I should go for Durham this September or wait for the next year and study till I get 600 and try to get into RSM? By the way, I'm 26 years old, so I don't want to waste more years...

RSM
RSM is a much stronger school and better run on the grad side and the school places well into London as well as regionally. I suggest re-taking the GMAT.
Durham has a strong undergrad BUT the b-school's grad programs are a total cash grab for the school and filled w/ int'l students from Asia who pay full fair. Most of these students don't get jobs in the UK post-school and go back home. So, your grad school experience isn't going to be much fun, alum ties to the grad program are super weak and on-campus recruiting is undergrad focused and they ignore grad students.

My advice is different. Stay for 2 years and apply for an MBA. It is better form money wise and your career. So, study to get a good GMAT score for MBA program. if you were around 24, I would advise you to pursue an MSc.
In general, before COVID-19, I would suggest against UK due to economy and immigration policies (those policies maybe under review now in favor to attract students)
