It depends on how much you can score now. There’s not much difference between a 690 and a 700, even GMAC says this. If you can score 720 upwards, go ahead and appear. Also, opt for the offline test as you’ll need the scores soon.

In general 690 is fine for the ESSEC MiM

PM and I’ll do what I can for you

So I got in with a GMAT score of 660 so as much as GMAT matters, you need to know if your profile, application and goals are good enough to make up for the gmat score. If they are good, you don’t really need to go for another GMAT attempt. It’s just how good you personally think it is

There is no such thing called a “good enough” GMAT or GRE score. Unlike JEE or CAT, these scores only account for a very low portion of your application assessment. Your entire profile including CV, essays and goals along with these scores determine the result. People can get int with lower than 320 and get rejected even if they have more than 330. There is no answer to this question. I’m sorry if I this came out rude, I didn’t mean to offend you.

as others have pointed out, there’s no guaranteed safe or as such too low score. Depends on your entire profile, and that of those who apply in the same round as you. But as per the official website, they’ve mentioned the average scores;

"As a reference, kindly note that students who joined the 2021 intake of the program had an average GMAT score of 698 and an average TAGE MAGE score of 362."

further, you can look up the average scores of those who have been accepted in the first round to get further clarity on the same. Obviously this isn’t to say that you should meet the average scores, but that would be ideal. A further deviation from the avg scores would obv impact you likewise. Needless to say, its about the overall profile (CV, LORs, Essays and GMAT/GRE).

I got the scholarship and my GMAT score was 680. So it wasn’t really high and it’s only one factor - the whole application as a whole is what really impacts the decision for both an admit as well as scholarships

Hey guys!
Is there any whatsapp group or other group for admitted students in R1 at ESSEC MiM. Please share the link if there is one.

Also, ik the R2 deadline is very close so as a payback to the community, I am having personalized sessions for Application Prep and even Interview Prep totally free of cost. DM me in case any help is needed :)

Hey!
I’ll be applying to Essec in R2 with 750 GMAT, I just want to ask that, does Essec ask for class 12th marksheet along with undergrad?
I’m confused by their terminology of high school diploma and all
