Hey ashurocks17,

Congratulations on a great improvement. I have personally completed the MGMAT advanced quant but found it to be too difficult. I am planning to buy the GMATCLUB tests. Could you please share your experience with those tests. Further did you purchase the Kaplan and Veritas Prep test or tried the free one available on their website as I was also planning to purchase Veritas prep tests specially for verbal? Thanks.

Hi mate..
First of all I liked your username.

Yes Advanced quant is tough and thats why it is for those who have already managed to get to 47. I purchased MGMAT tests and GMATprep pack1 and before that I had taken free CATs of almost all that are available. Veritas' and kaplan's quant sections were tougher than the actual test in my opinion. And same with MGMAT tests also. They indicate your quant score 3-4 points lower. I found GMATprep tests very useful, they have difficulty level same as that of the real test. They also have the same software as that of the real test and that also helps. The score indicator is very accurate and you can rely on it. With MGMAT tests, you can expect an increment of 40-50 points in your real test.

Good luck..

Hi Buddy,
Thanks a lot :-D . How would you compare GMATCLUB test to MGMAT advance quant. Did the tests help you in Quant. Although the reviews on GMATCLUB are amazing, I would appreciate your feedback. Are the tests worth buying?

I used both MGMAT and GMATprep pack1 test series. GMAT club tests and MGMAT tests have quant sections more difficult than that of actual test, therefore you can't measure your accurate score. This was what I felt. While I was hitting a 47-48 in quant, I was so worried about my Quant score, but that time I already was near a 50 inmy preparation. I think I over read quant and may be that also helped me as I completed my quant 7 min before in real test. If you really want to put your money I will suggest you to buy gmatprep exam pack 1. It has pack 2 also. Therefore a total of 6 tests, which are same as real test and a very good practice.

Good luck

Hi

Congratulation for such a nice score :)

I have two question to you

1. How many mock test you have taken?
2. What was your result of each mock test?

Hi.
Thanks.
In my first CAT I scored a 460, then there was an increment almost every time I took a CAT. My highest in MGMAT was 710 and in GMAT prep was 730..My score took a ladder from 460-740 ,I have seen every score in between.
