Student Organizer - Sales, GraVITas TechFest, VIT University Mar’14- Oct’14
Now I am have 2 options- applying for an MBA this year, or waiting for another year and switching my organisation ( Already have an offer and would be working directly in the core team of most sucessful and a celebrity Indian Indutrialist). Also, what are some of the schools I can target? I am open to all countries, but prefer U.S.

Your work profile seems strong, would help further if you can throw some light on what are your career goals and why you would want to pursue an MBA.
In case you choose to apply next year, you would be fresh into a new job- be prepared to justify why you would want to pursue an MBA at that stage and how changing a job and then going for an MBA shortly after makes sense in your career (again relates to career goals as mentioned above)
You have enough time to apply this year to most US schools with R2 deadlines in end Dec/first week of Jan. However, in case you are targeting top ~15 US B Schools, a 710 on the GMAT may not be a very competitive score. Almost all Top 15-20 US B Schools ahve average GMAT scores >720 (that means even higher for Indian Male Engineers as these make up the biggest and most competitive pool of applicants)
In that case you may want to reappear for the GMAT (that might mean moving the application to next year)
