GMAT Club Pre-MBA Internship is your opportunity to make a lasting impact, get valuable experience managing high-visibility products that will be used by thousands of users each month, and finally, help make MBA applications a better experience for everyone! Previously released products:

Goals:1. Improve user experience on GMAT Club
2. Leverage the strength and diversity of our members in shaping GMAT Club’s future
3. Provide a pre-MBA internship opportunity with real Product Management Experience to help with career transition
4. Create a safe environment to experiment, try things out, improve, and even fail
5. Create more opportunities for GMAT Club users to get involved in decision-making, management, and execution
Pre-MBA Internship Overview:• You will be responsible for setting the strategy and determining the growth path of your product.
• You will get to see and experience how GMAT Club works behind the scenes. You will work with GMAT Club’s founder, moderator team, developers, and designers.
• You will be conducting research such as user surveys, interviews, etc to identify user segments and develop a strategy for multiple profiles.
• You will decide the pace of your product. You will be the decision maker when it comes to the time and task at hand. There are no set hours.
• Internship Timeframe: 3-4 months
• Estimated workload: 10-15 hrs/week on average. (some weeks it may be 20 and some only 5); no set hours. This is not intended as a full-time job.
• During the internship you will have an appropriate title on the Forums identifying you as a PM for a specific project.
• At the end of the Internships, you will receive a stipend of $1,500, experience letter, reference, and a LinkedIN recommendation from GMAT Club.
• Some candidates may be offered a PM position or extension of their internship for Spring 2023.
Requirements: 1. You must have an R1 Interview Invite or Admit. This is required.
2. There are no citizenship/location requirements. No age, gender, or other restrictions – everyone is welcome to apply.
3. You must be a GMAT Club member
4. Having more reputation helps (e.g. posts, kudos, etc)
5. You can apply for up to 2 positions at a time (Primary and Backup)
6. We will be reviewing candidates on a rolling basis. I encourage you to apply sooner than later. The submission form will be closed on Nov 5th.

1. ErrorLog
- You will be responsible for shaping the next generation of the error log and and make related decisions as the product owner.
- You will be responsible for setting the functionality, UI, and overall experience
- You will work with a UI designer and a development team as needed
- You will conduct user research and analysis to build your use case
- Qualifications:
- No programming or technical skills are necessary
- No design/UI skills necessary but general instincts and gut feel for modern functionality is a plus
- Ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders (users, moderators, advertisers, developers, and a grumpy GMAT Club founder)
2. GMAT Club Tests 
- You will have a chance to make an impact on the hardest and best Quant tests
- Primary focus on the Analytics and Results Review. You are welcome to touch all aspects of GMAT Club tests (besides the algorithm and scoring) but in particular we are looking to improve analytics. There is some packaging work involved as we are are looking to release a third package and complexity related to launching and marketing.
- You will need to evaluate current state of GMAT Club Tests, suggest improvements and implement them during your internship project
- You will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders including UX expert, graphics design, and development resources
- Qualifications
- This project has significant complexity and requires a very detail-oriented person who is able to stay on top of multiple streams. If you keep your desk as messy as Steve Jobs or Einstein, this product is probably not for you. Organizational skills will be key to learn the product and understand the inner-workings of GMAT Club Tests
- Product Marketing and online advertising skills are a plus
- No programming or technical skills are necessary
- No design/UI skills necessary but general instincts and gut feel for modern functionality is a plus
- Ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders (users, moderators, advertisers, developers, and a grumpy GMAT Club founder)
- The ideal candidate is someone who has used GMAT Club tests and other prep products
3. Decision Tracker
- You will work on the Decision Tracker strategy
- Your goals will be to evaluate the current product, identify strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats
- You will have to understand what segments of users frequent GMAT Club and what they are looking for
- Your task will be to define the schedule of updates, stages of roll outs, and development resources needed to complete the project
- If needed, you will then work with UI experts and Designers to create and publicize the next generation of the GMAT Club’s UI
- Qualifications:
- No programming or technical skills are necessary
- No Journalistic experienced needed
- No design/UI skills necessary but general instincts and gut feel for modern functionality is a plus
- Ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders (users, moderators, advertisers, developers, and a grumpy GMAT Club founder)
4. Other - Name Your Own Project
- For the first time, we will open up the internships to your own projects, ideas, and suggestions
- If you have an idea, and you want to pitch it and work on it - this is your chance
- Happy to consider anything
