Hi everyone, firstly thank you all for the great support and information that you've provided throughout this process - its been really helpful!
I have 2 quick questions that I couldnt really find answers to when searching the forums and watching the related Youtube videos:
1. I understand that the use of an external monitor is prohibited, and that the software you install will actually disable any external monitor you have attached if you are using a laptop. My question is rather pedantic, but I would like to take the test with my laptop and an external monitor - with my laptop screen disabled. I'd like to be able to take the test on my much bigger external monitor, and still have my laptop open, just underneath the monitor with its webcam pointed at me so that I'm visible to the proctor and able to use the keyboard - but the actual screen of the laptop will be off - would this setup be acceptable?
2. I understand that the online test does not count towards the 12-month and lifetime limitations in terms of the number of times you are allowed to take it. However, how does it factor in regarding the frequency limits, i.e. the limit of taking tests at least 15 days apart? If I take the online test on the 1st of June, would I have to wait 15 days until the 16th of June to re-take it at a test center (assuming they open in my region)?

Hi TWIC the answer would be no to both questions I believe.
You cannot have anything but your laptop in the table, if you had a docking station I guess it may do, but even if you have the laptop screen off when you begin, you could turn it on pressing a key. I'm not sure but would say it is a no, it is a **** that we have to do the exam in a 12, 13 o 15" screen but that is what it is.
For your second point, there is no time constrain, you could virtually take the Online GMAT and the GMAT at a Test Center on the same day
