I was able to match my target of 740. It's a little below my practice test numbers but I am still happy with it!

I took a different approach on the quant section due to the whiteboard. Instead of jotting down notes and thinking as I wrote (this is how I typically solve the problems), I took 30 seconds on each Q to just plot out the various ways I could solve the problem, and then took the least strenuous approach. It definitely meant less of an ability to do freehand math and check my answers, but it felt doable. I swear that the RC questions on this test were more difficult than any practice test I had taken, but it sounds like I am not alone in saying that.

Congrats on the 98% GMAT Online score! A 750 on the no-whiteboard GMAT Online feels like a 780 equivalent on the test center GMAT. If you factor in the perfect 8/8 on the IR, then altogether it's a true 99% score--and unlike the test-center GMAT, you don't have to wait another week for your essay score.

Also, it's good to know that GMAC's interpretation of "7 business days" includes the day that you take the exam.

Haha, unfortunately not! While I was definitely anticipating a bit of a dip, I dropped down a whopping 50 points from my last attempt to a 730. This is actually the score I received when I took the exam with 0 preparation for the very first time many years back. That said, definitely no reason for student concern (as everyone here has shown with their performance - well done everyone!!) as I wouldn't call it an in earnest attempt so much as as an attempt to "feel out the experience" for students - so I'm not too bummed!

Gosh, now I'm wishing I'd given it a practice test or so to knock off some of the rust on pacing and get a hang of this darn whiteboard! Way to go everyone! You've definitely shown that it can be done - whiteboard and all!

Quick question for the people who received scores today: were your GMAT Online scores simply emailed to you--or was there a special Pearson Vue login page / portion of the MBA.com website where you could log in and securely view your scores as well?

Was the email sent by Pearson Vue or GMAC?

I got the results emailed by GMAC, but I cannot see my scores anywhere on the website yet. If somebody has any further information, I am interested too.

I am pretty convinced that with a bit of tweak around the prep, it is totally achievable to get a great score. I would say though that it does need a fair amount of "revamp" of your previous test strategy.

Also, I understand the negativity. If I were applying this year in an incredibly over-represented pool, I'd be upset too.
