Hi guys, I just took my first official GMAT Prep test (710, Q47, V40) after studying for a month and a half and wanted to understand how my score was likely impacted by the following scenario...
I marked but did not submit question 31 on GMAT Prep test 1 in the quant section and after checking my error log it only shows 30 questions attempted, what is the likely change in my quant score?
I've looked around and it was estimated at a 3% change in the section score so would that mean a 3% percentile change so ((1-.03)*X)=Q47?
Thanks for any help or insight that you guys can give me.

Congrats on your 710.
The implication is pretty small as you said 3 percentile points which may bump you up to 720 or may have kept you at 710 it’s not possible to tell

Assuming that the program did not credit you with answering the final question, the penalty for not answering that prompt would have been small - and potentially nothing (likely just 0-10 points off of your overall Score). As a rule, you want to make sure that you answer EVERY question on Test Day (even if you're just taking guesses), but the GMAT is NOT designed to severely punish a Test Taker who doesn't get to the final question.
