Hi GMAT Experts
I had taken the GMAT last year in August and got 700 (49Q/35V). I applied to some schools but did not get scholarship. So, I am planning to appear for GMAT again preferably by mid-July and this time score close to 750 so that my chances of financial aid are higher this time. So I wanted to get your opinion on what should be my strategy this time for GMAT study and what material should I follow. I know the following about my-self and my preparation -
1. My quant is strong no need for much study
2. Verbal is one area where I falter and need all the practice. In all the areas (SC, RC, CR) I am average and do not have a stronghold. I had last time studied Manhattan and OGs. I now struggle to improve my verbal quotient. What material should I study to score better this time?
3. Integrated Reasoning - I am afraid of this section as I am never able to quickly solve the problems in this section. How should I approach the questions?
It would be great if you could help me in this regard as I really need some advice on how to improve.
Best

You need to dig down deep into each problem type and understand the issue:
In addition, try to drill down deep on each problem type:
SC: The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you. As a general guide line, you can start solving a question by taking the following things in consideration:
1. Find out the subject and the verb
2. See that the S&V agree in number
3. Look out for the modifiers
4. Look out for parallelism
5. Look out for usage of certain words - such as vs like, few vs less etc.
CR: There might be certain types of questions that are troubling you. May be Assumption, may be conclusion, inference etc.
You need to find that out and then practice them
RC: This again can be drilled down into different types of questions and also different topics. See what questions and topics trouble you the most and then practice accordingly.
Quants: Again try to break the questions in topics such as Algebra, Number system (very important), Geometry, PnC etc.
As an addition, start preparing an
error log and keep a note of all the mistakes you made and the lessons you learnt from the problems. This will ensure you do not make the same mistake again.
