Gmatclub Bandwidth issue / Maintenance or something else..!!

Hello everyone..!!

Sorry to bother you all to talk about an irrelevant topic.

Lately, i am facing issues with gmatclub website. On a daily bass i come to gmatclub to learn one or the other things but in last 1-2 weeks i have started facing page loading issues and thus could not do much practice or participate in other forum activities.

The problem is whenever i open a gmatclub page in google chrome browser the page does not load or loads too slowly or loads only a part of page. This is very irritating sometimes and it has become too frequent to deal with. During GOT as well i faced such issues but at negligible level. Normally, my browser has 6-7 tabs open in which ~80% are of gmatclub and one google search page. 
Though i face issues with gmatclub, parallel random checking on google search page load things super fast, even youtube videos.

Time is around 7:30pm to 11:00pm IST that i noticed in these days.

Any of you facing similar situation.?

What can possibly be the issue?

I am tracking latency and speed on a weekly basis so I know it is not on our side.

1. Just for the heck of it clear your cache for gmatclub. Just in case.

2. If you still find it slow, I would try testing it on your phone or a diff browser or try the speed test from a server in the US. My suspicion is that it may be popular time when people are watching content and may be clogging your local bandwidth in your area. Perhaps....

3. Try a diff browser if your speed test looks OK. I know my chrome started working very slow with tables on many sites.

That’s all I can think of.

Thanks for prompt response.

I have cleared the browser cache though i keep doing that along with prefetch on laptop's run command just to ensure nothings with my laptop. For the sake of it i am asking if having a number of bookmarks saved in the browser affects the site performance since i have kept many bookmarks.

I will check the speed testing at different point of time on chrome and as well as IE10. If it is the popular time then no one can do anything then though the issue came in last weeks only and gradually increased. Prior to that nothing i saw.

Let me come back with speed test result after few days.

PS. Just to clarify, When I said it is popular time, I mean on your end (your internet provider). I can notice somewhat of a pattern on my personal connection in the evenings vs during the day. GMAT Club load does not change our response time usually as most pages are cached and don’t require processing.

I am just writing this to update.

With that pattern of usage(5-6 tabs opening at a time) it was always going to be difficult. I checked that in the last 9-10 days, particularly around those hours the internet speed drops drastically(yes a local issue). I could not believe that on these days I was only getting a speed avg. of 1mbps(pathetic and no doubt I might have been getting that speed for many days prior to noticing it) which is worst as far as worldwide standards are concerned.

Anyway will check other avenues to get better connections.
