If you have attended Business School in Germany, what are your thoughts on it? Do you think that German B-Schools are harder than American B-Schools? Anything that you would like to share about your experience with B-School in Germany would be very helpful; specially if you could compare it to B-Schools in other countries.

There are also discussions in the Masters of Management and MSc forums about European and Specifically German Programs.
P.S. Aren't most German programs designed for people without work experience and structured for "younger" applicants and somewhat more academic as the result? I have had a few classmates who were exchange students from one of the German programs and they were all amazing at Finance/Valuations/running models - something I really needed help with.

Thanks bb, I will check out those forums. I applied to the University of Mannheim, Goethe Frankfurt University and BSEL in Germany, and from what I have gathered you are indeed right: Master of Science programs are aimed towards younger people and they do seem to be more academical than practical. I think this happens because they offer many bachelor's degrees that last only 3 years and their class sizes are huge. On the other hand, many German universities do not charge tuition even to foreign students which I think is great (of course, as long as they only admit competent students).
