Hello Sensei,
Today I made a Manhattan CAT to test my progression. I scored a 560. This may seem low for most people here, but I started with a 410 2 weeks ago.
So even though I am happy with my progress so far, I have a question for you all.
Here is the thing: I found the Manhattan CAT extremely difficult, where as I find
the official guide practice questions easy or doable with providing me a challenge here and there.
Would anyone care to explain why I had so much trouble with the Manhattan CAT? Is it that much more difficult? Or is
the official guide to easy?
Or is there no explanation that could bring me either comfort or more worries?
My goal is to get 600+ as I need a score of 600 to get into the University that I am interested in.
Apologies for my language. I am not a native English speaker.
Greeting and thanks,
A GMAT student.
Edit: Apparently I panicked a little bit quickly. I just saw nearly all my verbal questions were for the 600-700 and 700-800 ranges while not even a handfull of questions were for the 500-600 range. I scored a 30 on that. I suppose I did kind of well there. My Quantitative section however is quite bad. I scored 37 with questions ranging from 300-500, 500-600 and 600-700.
