Hi SonofaSaracen,

Since you're not close to your score goal, but you CAN still pay to reschedule your Exam, that seems like the best option right now. GMAT skills will 'erode' over time, but you already seem to understand that you will need to put in additional study time anyway, so putting in that extra study time later on was a given. Unfortunately, no one here can tell you whether an extra month of study, AFTER a 3-week vacation, will be enough to get you to your score goal. The first step when you get back from vacation should be to take a new, FULL-LENGTH CAT (with the Essay and IR sections), so that we can assess your skills and plan out the rest of your studies.
